| | | | | | | Why Safarigear? Our customers come to us time and time again not only because we are committed to providing an excellent choice of specialist products; not only because we are recommended by family, friends and colleagues all over the world; but also because we are committed to you, our customers. There are four main reasons why you should buy Safarigear products: |
| 1. Hand made 100% cotton designed for safariAll of our clothes are 100% cotton hand made by dedicated people with a commitment to quality. There are many hi-tech moisture absorbing materials available now, but we believe that cotton is still the coolest and most skin friendly material around, particularly in extreme heat environments. Safari professionals advise us to wear cotton clothing. |
| 2. Quality designed for safariWhen we designed the Safarigear Bundu Collection, we designed clothes that are cool, light, strong and practical. The colours of the materials are ideal for the African Bush and are also complimentary and interchangeable. They can be worn separately or together in combination. This gives flexibility to your wardrobe on safari, particularly if you are going to be limited in the amount of clothes you can take.
All of our clothes are designed for Africa and are tested in Africa. For example, the Ultimate Safari Shirt was designed to be a flexible, cool shirt that could be worn all day long. This shirt was tested by the teams of the Inter-African fishing competition on Lake Kariba who unanimously gave it their approval. Our clothes are currently worn by Safari professionals all over Africa.
Safarigear is constantly testing products for quality. We aim to provide only the best to our customers. Our Safarigear bags, for example, are very possibly the best made bags in the world. They are made for the British Royal Family and offer fantastic value for money.

For example, Training and Development opportunities for employees are encouraged as are freedoms of association. We don't just say this - we personally inspect the factory with fair trade and ethics in mind and constantly check to ensure these practises are maintained.
Sandstorm bags are all hand-made in Kenya, and Sandstorm has taken a keen interest in developing the local communities and ecosystems there. To help promote and sponsor the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy, an outstanding wildlife and development operation based in the North of Kenya, a US$1 contribution is made every time a bag is sold.
